Kitchen station

A short recipe video, built from one dish photo.

Recipe videos are the format that almost never gets made, because a shoot is the most expensive thing a kitchen can spare time for. Godelicieux generates them directly from the plate - or from a written outline when the plate does not yet exist - and sizes each cut for the platform it is meant for, not for a single master file that has to be re-cropped later.

Station roleTakes a dish photo or a written outline, produces a cinematic short-form video sized for the surfaces the dish actually lands on.
How it runs
01
Read the plate
A dish photo is parsed into components - protein, sauce, plating structure, garnish - and matched to a movement library.
02
Compose the beats
The clip is scripted around four culinary beats - prep, transform, plate, serve - not around a generic template.
03
Frame the shot
Motion, framing, and pacing are chosen to feel appetite-first - the way a line cook holds a spoon, not the way a stock library moves.
04
Cut for surface
The final clip renders as vertical for reels, square for feed, and a slower cut sized for menu-board loops.
Worked example
Input
A phone photo of a plate of slow-braised short rib on soft polenta.
0:00 - 0:07 Sear
Tight overhead on the sear - butter foam, spoon-baste rhythm.
0:07 - 0:20 Braise
Slow pan across the pot, steam rising, hand adjusting a bay leaf.
0:20 - 0:28 Plate
The rib lifts off the bone with the back of a spoon, glaze pouring in the last beat.
0:28 - 0:30 Serve
Wide shot to table, warm lamp light, a chip cut for the menu-board loop.
Multiple crops, one run

A single generation produces the vertical, square, and menu-board cuts together. No re-crop pass afterwards.

Runtime you can actually post

Default 22 to 30 seconds, tuned for platform ranking, with a 6-second teaser cut available on demand.

Matches how the dish is cooked

The beats come from your actual prep, not a stock template - so the clip is not obviously generated.

A note on accuracy

Godelicieux composes cuts, motion, and captions - it does not fabricate ingredients or steps you did not describe. Provide a two-line recipe outline for dishes with unusual techniques.
